In 1945 Fakhir with his father went to Eastern Kurdistan to help Qazi Muhammad to defend the newly founded Kurdish Republic of Mahabad, his father became a colonel in the army of east Kurdistan also he was General officer of Safin force in September Revolution of Iraqi Kurdistan.
In 1968. Martyr fakhir became General officer in military September Revolution of Iraqi Kurdistan ,he led to attacked petrol company in karkuk at result qaladza city became independent and peshmarga had complete control over Qaladza.
In March 1970 Baghdad and the Kurdish leaders reached a peace agreement, He was chosen as the leader of the fourth branch of Kurdistan Democratic Party in Sulaimani and Karkuk
Martyr Fakhir Mergasori believed that the truth was a great source of inspiration for the struggle, advocated complete unconditional independence for Kurdistan, he has been assassinated.
To honor his memory this Educational Compound have been named after him to keep his memory alive.
